A highly entertaining documentary about the staging of India's first contemporary art biennale. Over 90 artists from India and across the globe flocked to the historic port town of Fort Kochi for an event that was both rewarding and hugely challenging. Under funded, few resources and a hell of a lot of ambition, this film shows the behind the scenes efforts that went on to pull off the event that saw over 10,000 visitors on its opening weekend, and not just art world grandees, the visitors were largely the local community who formed a new and appreciative audience for contemporary art.
